Today is the day I start my blog, so just so you know what to expect, I love all things wedding, glamorous and girly so you may find that as well as being a blog about my life as a Makeup Artist and Hairstylist, top tips on skincare and product reviews I may well stray into sequins, flowers, decorative items and basically anything that inspires me.....ah, and I love to bake too so sweet treats may make an appearance now and then!
After a weekend of two wedding parties in Kent and London the trend for Cadburys Purple bridesmaid dresses, which has been a big look for 2012, is still going strong. I love the colour as it can be contrasted with a vibrant orange for a glamorous hot wedding look or toned with shades of lilac and cream for a softer, vintage look which has been the biggest wedding style this year and I predict will be with us for quite some time as it allows for great imagination, personal touches and homemade special pieces too...
On Friday I worked with the ever entertaining James Heffernan from http://www.funkypixel.co.uk and can't wait to see some rainy day pictures as he does them so well, I have to admit I have seen a sneaky peak and he even managed to capture a rainbow, how romantic is that? The wedding party had their reception at The Mulberry tree in Kent http://www.themulberrytreekent.co.uk/
On Saturday I worked with the lovely Cecile from http://www.cecile-photos.com/ and the party had their reception at the Tower Bridge Hilton http://www3.hilton.com/en/hotels/united-kingdom/hilton-london-tower-bridge-hotel-LONTBHI/index.html
